Woo-hoo. "No deaths" finish to Tomb Raider Definitive Edition
I found this video hanging out on my SkyDrive and realized that I forgot to post it. It's a minor thing but a bit of a big deal for me.
Let's face it -- when it comes to fighting bosses in games I'm pretty lame. I mean, I will eventually figure out how to beat them, but it's rare that I survive a boss on a first encounter.
So it was a big surprise and minor personal victory when I finished the final boss of Tomb Raider Definitive Edition with full health.
So here's my little celebration video:
I know, it's not all that hard of a boss, but let me have my moment.
By the way, this game earns its name. The graphics are insanely enhanced from the prior version. It's near-perfect: a good mix of story, drama, action, game play, platforming and visuals. It's the best origin story out there that I've played. The voice acting is excellent -- especially the performance by Camilla Luddington as the twenty-one year old Lara.
